They'll issue a service order to Energex (or your distributor) to remove the service line and meter. Allow several weeks notice, as it can take time. 2. Gas: Contact your gas provider to have the line capped and removed. This must be done by a licensed professional. Water & Sewerage: Arrange for a licensed plumber to disconnect and cap off water and sewer connections.
